Trees are valuable assets to our landscapes and the environment, and whenever possible we prefer to preserve them. However, removal is sometimes a necessary option. Skilled arborists can recognize the subtle aspects of trees and sites that will determine how difficult or simple the removal job will be. Tree removal can prove complicated and even dangerous and requires skill, experience, and training to safely & successfully execute. Some trees are simple to remove, but others require specialized equipment like bucket trucks and cranes. Don’t trust just anyone with your Carollwood tree removal-make sure the arborist you hire is properly trained and certified like those at MidFlorida.
When it comes to tree maintenance, removal is really only a small part of the game. Oftentimes a properly maintained tree canopy, with regularly scheduled tree cuttings can prevent the trees around and near your Carollwood home from getting to the point where removal becomes a necessary safety action.
Maybe you’d like a higher tree canopy to allow for more sunlight in your home, or need a dying tree removed before it falls, MidFlorida can assist in those situations. Perhaps you need a tree trimmed due to proximity to a power line, or multiple trees taken down to make room for your next big building project. No matter what the reason, we can take care of all your tree service needs.
When tree removal becomes necessary in Carollwood, you'll be subject to the rules of the Hillsborough County Government.
A Tree Removal Permit is required for the removal of trees on residential and non-residential properties for all tree species, with the exception of exempted trees as defined by the Land Development Code. Also, dead trees do not require a permit, however, photo documentation is encouraged prior to removal of the tree. If the dead tree is on a property undergoing new construction or development, a site review by county staff is necessary to evaluate the dead tree and proceed with the pertinent code compliance action.
Hillsborough County requires a member of the staff of Natural Resources to examine and evaluate the tree prior to removal. A Certified Arborist Affidavit is accepted as an alternative to the staff visit. Mid Florida Tree Service is qualified & able to provide that affidavit when appropriate.
