Gibsonton Florida is a Census Designated Place in Hillsborough County. It is on the south bank of the Alifia River and runs from its mouth at Hillsborough Bay east to I-75 and south to Big Bend Road or Old Big Bend Road.   Also known as Gibtown, it is famously the winter home of many showmen or carnies. Visiting the town, you are likely to notice carnival rides packed into their traveling configuration on semi-trailers parked in people's yards.   Being a significant part of SouthShore, with developments like a movie theater, Cracker Barrel Restaurant and a Walmart Super Center, Gibsonton is growing into a more urban town.    There are still plenty of trees in Gibtown. Along the Alifia River you can see the green from any aerial view map. The same can be said for Bullfrog Creek and much of the community between them.   If your home or business in Gibsonton Florida is in need of tree service like Pruning, Trimming, Fertilizing or Removal, please consider Mid Florida Tree Service. We've been in the area for nearly 50 years and have the experts to take proper care of your Florida Trees.   We have the equipment and training to deal with difficult trees, such as those that overhang buildings or whose roots may threaten concrete driveways, sidewalks or foundations.   Give us a call at (813) 986-2258
